Data Sourcer Team Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and people-focused Data Sourcer Team Lead to oversee and manage our Data Team at Bayanihan Partners.

  • This is a player-coach role responsible for leading the overall data team, hiring new team members,  ensuring operational efficiency, and aligning outputs with business needs. The role involves understanding and completing data sourcing work in addition to managing the team that is executing. The role is focused on team management, performance management, and operational execution, ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing teams within Information Technology organizations, with a proven track record in managing people, driving performance, and working closely with senior stakeholders. This role is best suited for a senior data professional or manager (minimum 5+ years of experience) who is confident leading teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team Leadership and Management:

    • Lead, manage, and mentor the Data Team to ensure consistent performance and productivity

    • Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members

    • Conduct performance reviews and support professional development of the team

    • Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative team culture

     

    Operational Oversight:

    • Oversee day-to-day data operations and ensure timely and accurate delivery of outputs

    • Monitor team KPIs, performance metrics, and quality standards

    • Ensure alignment of team output with business needs and priorities

    • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks within the team

     

    Data Sourcing Execution:

    • Work with the scoping team to understand exactly what data needs to be obtained.

    • Troubleshoot difficult technical issues with sourcing data.

    • Provide tactical insight to the team when there are new novel issues encountered.

    • Undertake some complex tasks to demonstrate to the team how to execute the work.

    • Ensure data integrity is maintained.

    • Develop processes in executing regular/recurring tasks.

     

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as the main point of contact for data sourcing operations

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery expectations are met

    • Escalate and resolve team or operational issues as needed

  • Qualifications

     

    • Experience:

      • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a senior data professional or in a managerial role within an Information Technology company

    • Full-time employment (40 hours/week)

    • Work from home arrangement with occasional in-person meetings depending on business needs

    • Management role requiring close coordination with management and stakeholders

Data Sourcer

We are seeking two (2) motivated and detail-oriented Data Sourcers to join Bayanihan Partners on a full-time basis.

  • Ideal candidates are responsible for managing and analyzing data, maintaining trackers, automating workflows, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. They will be closely working with the data team, and this entry-level role is also open to fresh graduates who are eager to learn and be trained.

  • Data Management and Reporting:

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly trackers for clients.

    • Extract and integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

    • Create insightful visualizations to effectively communicate performance metrics.

    • Address ad-hoc data requests from clients and actively participate in meetings to align strategies with business goals.

     

    Data Automation and Tools:

    • Apply Python for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.

    • Utilize Google Apps Script to automate workflows within Google Sheets and reduce manual errors.

    • Implement solutions using Google Sheets API and Google Drive API for seamless data automation and management.

    • Leverage no-code platforms such as Make.com and Zapier to automate workflow processes.

    Performance Tracking and Analytics:

    • Track applied clicks and streamline daily traffic analysis to support strategic decision-making.

    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

  • Qualifications


    Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data management, analysis, or related roles is preferred.

    • Experience with Python is required.

    • Familiarity with Google Sheets, JavaScript, or workflow automation tools is a plus.

    Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    • Proficient in creating visualizations and dashboards.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

    Requirements:

    • Must have at least 300Mbps fiber internet connection at home from a reputable service provider.

    • Backup internet connection is an advantage.
       

    • Full-time employment (40 hours/week)

    • Work from home arrangement with occasional in-person meetings with the General Manager for liaison tasks.
