We’re looking for a Senior Front End Application Developer to lead the development of user-centric, scalable web applications in a fully remote role.

We are hiring a Senior Front End Application Developer to lead the development of high-performing, scalable, and user-centric web applications. This full-time remote opportunity offers long-term stability and flexible working hours, collaborating with a team operating in the MST time zone.

  • Front End Development & Architecture

    • Architect, develop, and maintain complex front end applications with clean, modular, and scalable code.

    • Lead UI/UX implementation using modern front end technologies and best practices.

    • Drive architectural decisions for front end frameworks, state management, and application structure.


    Performance, Optimization & Quality

    • Optimize front end applications for maximum speed, performance, and reliability.

    • Implement advanced caching, lazy loading, and rendering optimization strategies.

    • Conduct and oversee code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.

    ​

    Collaboration & Technical Leadership

    • Mentor junior and mid-level developers through pairing, coaching, and knowledge sharing.

    • Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and DevOps teams for seamless feature delivery.

    • Participate in technical planning, sprint grooming, and roadmap discussions.

     

    Testing & CI/CD Integration

    • Implement automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure stable and reliable front end releases.

    • Work with DevOps to support CI/CD workflow improvements for front end deployments.

    • Ensure releases are well-tested, documented, and aligned with product requirements.


    Security & Best Practices

    • Apply secure coding practices to protect data, assets, and user interactions.

    • Implement and maintain role-based access, input validation, and other front end security measures.

    • Ensure full compliance with accessibility and industry standards.

  • Must Have:

    ​

    • 5+ years of experience as a Front End Developer or similar role

    • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (React preferred unless otherwise specified)

    • Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, async programming, and state management (Redux, MobX, Vuex, etc.)

    • Experience building scalable, component-driven architectures

    • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility

    • Hands-on experience integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs

    • Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Babel)

    • Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

     

    Nice to Have:

    ​

    • Experience with WebSockets, real-time UI updates, or streaming data

    • Familiarity with UI testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)

    • Background in design systems or component libraries (Material UI, Chakra UI, Tailwind)

    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

    • Knowledge of cloud platform integrations (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

    • Experience building dashboards, complex interfaces, or data-heavy applications

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

    • Front end framework certifications or cloud certifications are a plus

    • Full-time role

    • Flexible working hours aligned with Mountain Standard Time (MST)

    • Philippines candidates preferred

  • Backend Development & Architecture

    • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and micro services.

    • Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through best engineering practices.

    • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical solution planning.

     

    Database & Storage Management

    • Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases to design efficient data models.

    • Optimize database queries and implement data integrity and security controls.

    • Manage database migrations, indexing, and performance tuning.

     

    System Performance & Reliability

    • Monitor backend service health and optimize performance bottlenecks.

    • Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling strategies.

    • Ensure backend systems meet uptime, reliability, and performance targets.

     

    Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

    • Partner with front end, product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust features.

    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

    • Support deployment and release cycles in coordination with DevOps.


    Security & Best Practices

    • Apply secure coding standards and implement backend security measures.

    • Protect APIs and data pipelines with authentication, authorization, and encryption.

    • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry standards.

  • Must Have:

    ​

    • 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role

    • Strong proficiency in backend languages such as  Node.js, Python, Go or Java

    • Experience building and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs

    • Solid understanding of microservices architecture

    • Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

    • Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub)

    • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills

    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

     

    Nice to Have:

    ​

    • Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)

    • Background in serverless frameworks or cloud-native services

    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

    • Experience working on AI-driven or data-intensive platforms

    • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

    • Relevant certifications (cloud, backend frameworks, etc.) are a plus

    • Full-time role
